Some data sources on SolarNode capture quite a few metrics, such as AC power meters that capture power, energy, quality, etc. metrics each time a sample is taken. Some user pricing models are based on the number of metrics posted into SolarNet, so it would be helpful to be able to limit the metrics posted to just the ones the user is interested in tracking. The SolarNode setup GUI should support configuring filters so only the desired metrics are posted to SolarNet.

It might be good to define a "metric type" filter that is applied across all data sources, rather than on a per-data source configuration. That might not be flexible enough for all situations, however, so supporting filters based on source IDs might also be a good option.
