With bigger projects manual entry via the solarnode default configuration UI can be time consuming and open to errors. 

The image below show the configuration screen for the intesis Maps software. They build gateways to convert one signal to an other. You can see how they have structured the modbus and mbus registers in this table. This makes it fast to configure. With some software it is possible to upload a CSV, this makes it much faster to populate when there are a lot of sourceIDS and registers. Do you think a table and upload file facility could be built into solarnode over time?
