In situations where we are only getting intermittent data from a node and we can't SSH in, it would be good to know what is going on. The situation is often when the bandwidth is not so great, so huge uploads of data is not that helpful - but - if we were able to check the logs of what the node was doing, if the node could upload some smaller version of the logs to highlight what the problem is so we can know what action to take.
