Sometimes when there is a spike in buffered input datum in the AsyncDaoDatumCollector class, the reported "lag" jumps up but does not ever seem to go back down. This triggers a continuous alert state in the SolarIn monitoring systems.

It seems this condition only happens if the RAM buffer overflows, i.e. the reported BufferWatermark equals the BufferCapacity.
